Gardening at Connections

We have been working hard at growing some vegetables as part of the Connections program. Participants then use these vegetables in the food we prepare in the program. We currently have lettuce, onions, broccoli, cauliflower, celery, cucumbers and tomatoes!

Christy enjoys the garden activities and says “I didn’t know I could grow stuff to eat, I’ve never had a garden before”. So goes on to tell us that “I’m happy I’m learning new things!”
