C is passionate about his hobbies, enjoys being around others and likes to be involved in his community.

C began utilizing supports from Opportunity Inc. in March of this year. He is very obese, which has been a barrier in his participation in activities he enjoys.

C told staff he wants to get his life back. He spent the previous 3 years in a nursing home due to difficulties with his obesity. In the past several months, C began working hard at standing, walking and slowly getting more active.

Now, he has lost 30 pounds and feels better about himself and is starting to participate in more and more activities. He can stand for a much longer time that he could. He can walk farther and farther. His clothes fit him better. C tells his supports how happy he is to be on the path to taking back control of his life.
