Dean Verhein has now been the Coordinator of both, the Transportation Department and the Maintenance Department for over five years.

He is responsible for all Agency vehicles and the maintenance of all Agency owned properties and most of our rental properties across a three-County area. It is a nearly impossible job.
Additionally, Dean is responsible for all department grants, for preparing for Wisconsin Department of Transportation (DOT) inspections, and for maintaining all vehicles according to requirements, which includes tracking and reporting all miles driven and for every passenger for every trip, and for regular reporting to the DOT. His maintenance duties include both the inside and the outside of every home/building and his involvement and oversight of any new projects at 15 homes and 2 office/program buildings, which includes lawns, flooring, lighting, stoves, washers, dryers, refrigerators and dishwashers; as well as snow removal. The list of his responsibilities is long and never-ending.
